Worlingham RoadRunnerz Hit the Big Screen!

This past Sunday morning, the Worlingham RoadRunnerz had a little extra spring in their step as Connor Bennett from BBC Look East joined us down at Beccles Common to film a special TV piece on our club.
Connor first met the RoadRunnerz crew back in November at the Active Suffolk Awards, where we proudly picked up the title of "Active Club of the Year"(yes, we’re still buzzing about it and not afraid to say it again! ). He was so inspired by what he heard that he wanted to come and see the magic for himself. And what better way than joining us on a sunny Sunday run?
The atmosphere was electric as the Sunday Social Gang, Slow Sunday Runnerz, and Together We Run all united for a big club meet-up. The camera rolled, the smiles were wide, and the green and black of the RoadRunnerz was out in full force. After a bit of filming and a few chats with Connor, we split into our usual pace groups and hit the trail, enjoying the sunshine and the sense of community that makes our club so special.
And of course, in true RoadRunnerz tradition, no social is complete without cake! All groups were rewarded with a well-earned post-run spread of coffee, cake, and catch-ups, rounding off a brilliant morning in perfect style.
