5K Improver Running Course
Are you ready to take your 5K performance to the next level?
If you've been running regularly but feel stuck at a certain pace, our 6-week 5K Improver Course is designed just for you. Whether you're chasing a new personal best or simply want to run stronger and feel better, this course will provide the structure, motivation, and community support you need.

What You’ll Gain:

A structured training plan including 4–5 runs per week
Group sessions led by England Athletics qualified Run Leader

Important:
This course is only available to active members of Worlingham RoadRunnerz. To ensure everyone gets the most from the sessions, places are limited to 15 runners. Please only sign up if you can commit to the full course schedule.

What do i need to bring with me in the Summer months?A drink (or two if it's really hot) Bug spray in the later months

What do i need to bring with me in the dark winter months?Wear bright reflective clothing and a head/chest torch A drink Bring a jacket to put on afterwards to warm up

What should I wear?We recommend comfortable clothing suitable for running, along with a comfy pair of trainers. Just make sure you’re dressed for the weather and ready to move!

What is the Maximum Number of Participants?We aim to stick to 12 athletes per coach, this means we can concentrate on each person and give them the attention they deserve. We are also mindful that we're running in a small town and built up areas.

Where can I park?You’re welcome to use the school car park, which is available free of charge during our club sessions.

Can I bring my bicycle?Yes, you’re welcome to cycle to the club. Just remember to bring a lock, as you’ll need to secure your bike during the session.

What Happens if I Can Not Keep Up?Not on our Watch! We're an inclusive group, our coaches will ensure that nobody runs on their own. The majority of our sessions are a short warm up jog to a base location, efforts are then run from there, meaning that everybody is together in one group and therefore nobody gets left behind.

How do I book onto a session?You can book onto sessions using the RunTogether Runner app, which is available to download on your mobile phone. We also share booking links for all sessions on our social media pages and in our private members-only WhatsApp group.

How much does it costTraining sessions cost just £1.50 per session or £5 for the whole month. It’s easier for everybody if you pay monthly by standing order – and it works out a lot cheaper, especially if you attend twice a week! If you’re paying monthly, we kindly ask that you set up a standing order for the 1st of the month into the below account, all money goes back into the group to improve your training sessions and running experience for you.
