On Tuesday 2nd December and Thursday 4th December we ventured 10 minutes up the road and met in Beccles town centre. We split into various groups for our main training session, meeting back at Tesco for a 'supermarket sweep' to add items to the foodbank inside.

Over 100 runners joined us over the week, each adding at least one item to help those in need, that's an amazing amount of food items donated - thank you all so much!

Food banks provide emergency food and practical support to people who have been left without enough money to live on. People also get emotional support, and a reminder that they are not alone and someone understands. The volunteers at food banks offer a friendly face and basic kindness.
