The Final Cross Country of 2024

23rd March 25 saw 30 Worlingham Road Runnerz  meet for the last x country event of the winter series. We all took part in an enthusiastic warm up ready for the main event.

Weather conditions were near perfect and conditions good to firm (soft in places)   some speedy times looked on the cards.The course is somewhat undulating ( the word strikes fear into many runners), with a tricky rocky section not long after the start.

Happily, everyone successfully made it round, with some of us Jeffing a slightly modified route. We were all cheered back and welcomed with coffee and cakes.

Some fantastic times were posted and a great effort from all runners .

I am grateful to the volunteers and marshals for a really well organised event. Gotta love x country and hills ❤️
